Generation Refrigeration Co., Inc. was founded in 1985 by Jonathan Fink, beginning as a modest operation out of his father's basement in New Jersey. From the start, it was built on a foundation of quality workmanship and honest service.

In 1994, the company relocated to Virginia with a team of four and has grown steadily into the focused, capable organization it is today.

Family has always been the cornerstone of Generation Refrigeration, and that is reflected in how the company treats its people, with genuine care, respect, and a real investment in their success. It is not a policy; it is simply who they are.

In 2024, Jonathan passed the business to his daughter, Jillian Reahard, who joined Generation in 2007 and has grown alongside it ever since. Together with her husband and Operations Officer, Justin Reahard, they lead the company as a team, combining operational excellence with a deep commitment to the values it was founded on.
